CALABASH WILL CLOSE ON THURSDAY 12TH AUGUST AND REOPEN ON WEDNESDAY 6TH OCTOBER 2010.
Calabash is a beguiling beachside sanctuary whose raison d’ętre is personal service and whose setting amidst extensive flower-filled lawns is totally conducive to relaxation.
Thirty spacious suites – all with whirlpools and some with their own plunge pools – form a horseshoe shape leading down to a natural sandy cove. The Thorneycroft Suite, complete with spacious sun deck and large swimming pool, ranks as one of the finest rooms available on the island.
ROOMS
The Calabash has a total of 30 suites; 1 Thorneycroft suite with private pool, 7 with plunge pools, 9 Superior with whirlpool baths, and 13 with whirlpool baths (2 are suitable for people who use wheelchairs).
All suites have air conditioning, ceiling fans, showers, baths, hair dryers, CD player, clock radios, iron & ironing boards, lounge area, patio or balcony, mini bars, wall safes and tea and coffee making facilities. Within the Suites you will find a bedroom, a sitting area, a patio or balcony with sunloungers and a bathroom.
Adjacent to the suites, there are small maids pantry in which the maid appointed to your room will prepare your choice of breakfast each morning. The pantries in the rooms are specifically for the use of the maids.
